What to Expect

A jump start to your season

Early season conditions

Even though our camps are known for early season natural snow, you should be prepared for:

  • Grooming variability - unsettled and new snow pack can make grooming perfection a challenge.

  • Possible low snow conditions or trail closures.

  • Potential to upload/download gondola to access the best upper mountain snow.

Partner trail networks
  • Trails are open to the public with lots of space for everyone.

  • Some SilverStar trails cross over alpine terrain once alpine skiing is open (planned for early December).

  • Special events or conditions may lead us to host some camps at only one facility.

  • Want to alpine ski? Typically this opens the first week of December.

Coaches
  • Highly skilled, qualified and knowledgeable.

  • Ready to support your ski development goals through on snow technique demonstration and feedback and off-snow video review and analysis.

  • Certified through Nordiq Canada, CANSI, or both.

The Details and the Extras
  • The charming SilverStar village has shops, restaurants, amenities and accommodation. Our camps operate in a quiet time before the bustle of the season begins.

  • We use a shuttle service to transport you to and from Sovereign Lake on days when we ski there. This is not available at other times.

  • Hearty lunches are included with your camp, within your declared dietary restrictions.

  • We’re still finalizing the details, and will have lots of extras for you to opt-in or out of during your camp. These could include: a social, wax clinic, nutrition presentation, celebrity appearance and ski with National Team athletes, yoga, evening ski.

  • Check out our sample camp schedules for a daily breakdown.

  • We’ll communicate by email one month before your camps begins.
