The story behind the premier early-season Nordic camp
A joint venture between two of BC's most beloved Nordic institutions, born from a shared belief that early-season technique work is the key to a breakthrough season.
Where technique meets the best snow in Canada
XC SuperCamps was founded on a simple idea: the best time to work on your Nordic skiing technique is before the race season starts — and the best place to do it is on exceptional, consistently groomed trails, with world-class coaches who genuinely care about your development.
What began as a small gathering of dedicated skiers has grown into one of the most respected early-season camp programs in North America. Participants return year after year — masters racers fine-tuning their edge, newer skiers discovering what Nordic skiing can really feel like, and everyone in between finding the coaching and community that takes their skiing to the next level.
SuperCamps is held at SilverStar Mountain Resort and Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre near Vernon, BC — venues synonymous with early-season grooming excellence. The combination of terrain, snow conditions, and coaching expertise is what makes the program unique.

A joint venture rooted in Nordic excellence

SilverStar Mountain Resort
SilverStar is one of BC's premier four-season mountain resorts and home to some of the best Nordic terrain in the province. The resort's commitment to early-season grooming and trail maintenance makes it an ideal base for SuperCamps.

Sovereign Lake Nordic Club
Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre is renowned for its exceptional trail grooming and consistent early-season snow. The club's dedication to the sport and its community is central to everything SuperCamps stands for.

Exceptional terrain from the first snowfall
Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre consistently produces some of the earliest and best-groomed trails in Canada — often opening weeks before other venues. With over 25 km of beautifully maintained trails at elevation, early-season conditions here rival mid-season conditions elsewhere.
SilverStar adds additional terrain variety, with connected trail systems and an iconic mountain village setting that makes each day on skis something to look forward to.
Together, these two venues give SuperCamps participants access to a breadth of terrain that supports every aspect of technique development — from flat-speed work to technical climbs and fast descents.
